Comparing the Omoda 5 trims
Exterior Features
The Omoda 5 is a nice sporty looking SUV, looks relatively futuristic and has some nice touches.
- Knight Trim: Comes equipped with 18" alloy wheels, sleek body kit, body colour door handles, shark fin antenna, two exhausts (petrol only), T shaped daytime running lights and sequential indicators.

Interior Features
Omoda state the 5 interior is "crafted with a focus on comfort, blending modern innovation with user friendly interfaces" and honestly, it's pretty nice.
- Knight Trim: Comes with dark coloured faux leather heated seats, multifunctioning steering wheel, 6-way electrically adjustable drivers seat.
- Noble Trim: Adds multi-coloured ambient lighting, leather heated steering wheel, silent glass, 6-way driver and passenger electrical adjusted seats.

Technology and Convenience
The Omoda 5 is loaded with tech as standard, the Noble trim upgrades to some additional nice to have.

Petrol
The Omoda 5 is available with two turbocharged petrol engines: a 1.5-litre petrol engine, producing around 150 hp and offering strong fuel efficiency thanks to its smooth CVT gearbox; and a more powerful 1.6-litre petrol engine, delivering approximately 183 hp with a responsive 7-speed dual-clutch automatic for sharper performance. Both engines are designed to deliver an engaging drive, with accurate steering and well-tuned throttle response, while the 1.6-litre option is suited to people who want a more responsive drive.
Electric
The Omoda E5 is the fully electric version of the Omoda 5, powered by a 61.1 kWh battery and a single front-mounted motor producing around 204 horsepower and 340 Nm of instant torque. It offers a smooth, quiet driving experience with quick acceleration, achieving a range of up to 267 miles and supporting fast charging from 30–80% in under half an hour.

Boot Space

- Omoda E - The Omoda E5 has a smaller boot due to the placement of the battery of around 300 litres. It's still a good sized boot and you get a 19lite frunk for extra storage.

Conclusion
Even in its standard trim, the Omoda 5 and E5 is a well-equipped, sleek looking SUV that is comfortable and pretty nice to drive. The 5 starts at £22k for the Knight and goes up to £25k for the Noble, the additions include a power sunroof, ambient lighting and a heated leather steering wheel, so depending on how much you're bothered about a sunroof, the Knight is a good option. The E5 starts at £32k for the Knight trim and then up to £34k for the Omoda trim, you don't get any addtional nice to have features on the car, the additional cost comes from it being an EV, giving the car a stronger torque, quicker acceleration and an improved suspension.
